This substance is not labelled as "environmentally hazardous" in Appendix VI of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation). However, BAM has knowledge that the substance is environmentally hazardous for aquatic environments (see REACH dossiers at the ECHA). Therefore, assignment to UN No. 3082 and marking as "environmentally hazardous substance" is recommended.

In the State variation of Germany DE 5 (ICAO TI or DEG 05 IATA DGR), it is specified that all substances classified as "environmentally hazardous" in accordance with the provisions of other modes of transportation (UN3077/3082) must also be transported by air under this entry. Of course, this classification can be chosen only if the substance cannot be assigned to any entry of Classes 1-8 or any other entry of Class 9. The consignor reserves the right to make further specifications.
